Let me show you how to make this quick and simple Overlay Fun Fold Card.
It was made as part of a weekly Facebook Live. You will find the YouTube video by clicking on the link below.
The cutting instructions are as follows:
- Coloured cardstock
- Card base – 14.9 x 21.0 cm
- Score in half at 10.5 cm, fold and burnish fold.
- Open the card base and with the score line to the right-hand side, cut at 8.5 cm. This should give you a 2.0 cm piece to the left of the score line. This 2.0 cm wide piece forms part of the card front.
- Use the off-cut from the card front and cut it to measure 8.5 x 10.3 cm. This will form the second part of the card front.
- Front panel – 8.0 x 10.0 cm
- Scrap for the Label Me Lovely Punch
- Card base – 14.9 x 21.0 cm
- Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock (depending on double-sided paper used)
- 10.0 x 14.4 cm for the back/inside panel
- 7.5 x 9.5 cm for the front panel
- Scrap for stamping sentiment and punching using 1-1/2″ Circle Punch
- Designer Series Paper
- 1.5 x 14.4 cm – glue this to the front of the 2.0 cm wide piece on the card front
- 2 lots of 2.5 x 9.5 cm. These should be glued either end of the 10.0 x 14.4 cm so that there is an equal border top, bottom and outside edge.
- 7.0 x 9.0 cm for the front panel
Here’s another card made using the same cutting instructions.
For this card, I used the two same Stampin’ Write markers (Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green) and used them to highlight different words on the stamp.
