Have you seen the Many Blessings stamp set yet? It’s one of those stamp sets that you could easily miss when flicking through the catalogue.

This past Saturday we had our latest training day and one of my tasks was to design projects around the Many Blessings stamp set. These are the two that I came up with. They involve a fair bit of colouring with Stampin’ Blends. I know that some people would be happy to spend the day colouring, but we had other projects that we wanted them to try. As a result,  I kept it to just the two cards.

Many blessings cards for team training

The card on the right is a fun fold and was based on card that the lovely Jacque Williams from New Zealand made for the Share Fair on the Alaska Incentive Trip. Her card featured the hearts from the Takeout Treats stamp set.

Here’s a closer look at my version of the fun fold card.

Many Blessings Fun Fold Christmas Card

The instructions on how to make the Many Blessings Fun Fold card are as follows.

Supplies

Real Red cardstock – A5 (14.9 x 21.0 cm) scored and folded in half at 10.5 cm plus scrap for a scallop circle.

Shaded Spruce cardstock – scraps for 3 scallop circles

Whisper White cardstock – 10.0 x 14.4 cm for the front panel, plus scraps for 4 circles.

Whisper White cardstock – 5-5/8” x 10” scored at 2”, 3”, 4”, 5”, 6”, 7’ and 8”

All is Bright Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 9.5 x 13.9 cm

Basic Instructions

  • Stamp the pot of candy canes three times in Memento Tuxedo Black onto scraps of Whisper White. Die cut them out using the 4.8 cm Circle Die from the Layering Circle Dies. Colour the images using Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends.
  • Using Real Red ink, stamp the sentiment  onto a scrap of Whisper White and die cut out using the 4.8 cm Circle Die from the Layering Circle Dies.
  • Die cut three Shaded Spruce and one Real Red scallop circles using the 5.0 cm Scallop Circle Die from the Layering Circle Dies.
  • Fold and burnish all the scored lines on the large Whisper White panel. The first score line should be a valley fold with a mountain fold for the second. Repeat for all score lines, with the last fold being a valley fold.  Adhere the large Whisper White panel into the card so that the 2” sections are glued to the inside of the back and front respectively.
  • Glue two of the candy cane circles and the sentiment circle to the Shaded Spruce scallop circles and then glue into the card.
  • Adhere the smaller Whisper White panel and then DSP to the front of the card.
  • Glue Real Red scallop circle to the card front.
  • Fix a 7 cm piece of Real Red Mixed Satin Ribbon to the Real Red Scallop using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then fix the last stamped candy cane circle over.

I know that everyone at training loved making the card so I hope you are tempted  to give it a go.

Happy stamping.

Fiona xx
