Time for Simple Stamping Saturdays No.24. This week features the Accented Blooms stamp set and Bird Ballad double sided paper. The Bird Ballad double sided paper is included because it’s this week’s featured item.
The first card is really quick and easy to make and simply needed a pair of scissors.
Basic Instructions
- Stamp sentiment across the 3.0 x 13.0 cm strip of double sided paper.
- Cut out the image (two simple V shapes) and discarded.
- Make a note was made on the reverse of the paper to say which is the top piece.
- Stamp sentiment again in Calypso Coral but this time onto the front of the notecard.
- Glue the two pieces of double sided paper to the card front and trim ends as needed.
The other two cards involved stamping the sentiments onto a piece of Calypso Coral card stock before gluing it onto the notecard. Don’t be afraid to partly cover a stamped image with double sided paper (as per the card on the left) or to leave things simple with just paper and sentiment.
