It’s been a couple of weeks but welcome to Simple Stamping Saturdays No.12. This week I am featuring the Beautiful Promenade stamp set.
The 2017-2019 In Colors are retiring soon so I thought I would use them for my simple stamping projects.
I’ve made three identical cards with two different colour combinations of each. The first one above features Berry Burst (sentiment) and Fresh Fig (surround).
Three stamps from the set were used for the images. Two make up the surround (three straight sides and then the floral image for the top) and the other is the sentiment in the middle. Because the stamp set is photopolymer it is easy to easy where your stamped image is going to land.
The colour combinations used (left to right) are: Berry Burst and Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide and last but not least Powder Pink and Berry Burst.
The inside of each note card along with the envelope have been stamped too. It’s great to send a card with matching envelope.
You could add rhinestones, but I’ve kept my versions simple because I like to show that you don’t have to go mad and splash out when you first start crafting. If you buy just the stamp set, two ink pads and a pack of note cards (which come with envelopes) you can make 20 cards for £40 (£46.50 if you need to add a clear block for your stamps). I know my family and friends love to receive handmade cards and I’m sure yours would too.
