Time to share my Beautiful Promenade Stepped Up Simple Stamping cards. If you haven’t seen the simple stamping versions you will find them here.
The cards feature the 2017-2019 In Colors, and there’s a lot of colouring and die cutting involved
Basic Stamping and Die Cutting Instructions for the Beautiful Promenade card above
- Stamp multiple leaf images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
- Colour the leaves using Stampin’ Blends.
- Die cut all of them out using the appropriate die from the coordinating Beautiful Layers dies.
- Using Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and the other leaf die, cut a few more leaves.
- Die cut the diamond/circle pattern along the bottom edge of a 9.5 x 13.9 cm piece of Whisper White cardstock. You will need to pass the cardstock and die through the machine twice. First pass through the machine will cut one side of the card front. Then move the die to the other side and run it through the machine again. Ensure that there is some overlapping to ensure you don’t end up with a piece in middle with no die cut shapes.
- Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of Whisper White cardstock and snip both ends to create a banner.
- Adhere the banner to a Berry Burst label punched using the new Timeless Label Punch. The punch is not available until 4 June but I received one when I attended the recent Centre Stage event.
This second card would be a great card for men. It looks more intricate but actually it is pretty simple to make. Just a lot more messy to put together!
Basic Instructions for the second card
- Die cut two large Lemon Lime Twist open lattices.
- Use a pair of Paper Snips to trim one of the lattices to form a hexagon.
- Using scraps of Tranquil Tide and Whisper White die cut and trim two middle sections to form two smaller hexagons.
- Stamp sentiment onto the Whisper White hexagon.
- Adhere all the layers together with foam pads. The original thought was to cut strips of foam pad, but I found that one in the centre of each layer is sufficient.
