Over the next few weeks I plan share a review of the retirement list and tell you about some of my favourite stamp sets on it.

Every year when I open up a new catalogue one of the stamp sets I always check for is Lovely As A Tree. It seems that it has been around for ages. And it has been! Sadly though, it will be retiring on 3 June.

review of the retirement list

It first appeared way back in 2001. I have a very old wood mount set that I purchased pre April 2006 (when we returned to the UK from the USA). In fact, my set is so old it came in one of the old style bulky clam boxes (not any more). What’s more, I even had to cut out the images before mounting them onto the wooden blocks. Oh how things have changed!

I’ve looked back through my blog posts and picked out a few of my favourite cards and 3D items that I’ve shared. Click on each picture and it will take you to the original blog post.

review of the retirement list - lovely as a tree

These note books were new team gifts from back in February 2017.

I still love this fun and cheeky card from March 2016. The bear is so cute and I love how the background turned out.

One of the cards made as part of a class way back in October 2013.

A Christmas card from December 2013. Let’s face it, you have to make at least one Christmas card using this stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed the first part of my review of the retirement list. I have a feeling that the Lovely As A Tree stamp set won’t make it to 3 June once the news sinks in that it is leaving us.
