Thought I should share the last of the cards that were made this week using the Graceful Glass Suite. This time around I used the Painted Glass Bundle which contains both the Painted Glass stamp set and Stained Glass Thinlits Dies. These are certainly a fabulous combination and what’s more can be combined in so many ways.
I tend to like clean and simple cards, so this is what I made using the colours from last Tuesday’s challenge. The colours just happened to still be on my craft table so I decided used them again!
The card was made as follows:
- Calypso Coral base card – 10.5 x 29.7 cm, (A4 cut in half) which is scored and then folded at 14.9 cm
- Whisper White panel – 10.0 x 14.4 cm. Die cut the panel using the long die from the Stained Glass Thinlits, and then stamp the sentiment in black just above the die cut panel.
- Bermuda Bay card stock – 9.0 x 7.0 cm. This should be glued behind the hole in the Whisper White cardstock, so that the colour shows through.
- With the Bermuda Bay card stock glued behind the Whisper White panel, the filigree panel can then be glued back in place. The whole panel is then fixed to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Whisper White panel for inside – 10.0 x 14.4 cm, die cut using the quadrant die from the Stained Glass Thinlits and then glued to the inside of the card. The filigree quadrant can then be glued in place.
I have lots of ideas “running around” in my head on how to use this suite of products. But, to be honest, there are not enough hours in the day to make them all.
