I used the Apple Harvest Bundle to create a few cards for this week’s Stamping & Creating. The video also shows how to make a simple fun fold. The fold is a great way of sending a little something with a bit of a WOW but it’s simplicity itself.
Please note that although the Apple Harvest stamp set will be available until May 2023, the Apple Blossom Dies and also the bundle are only available until 30 Sept 2022.
The fold from the front looks very simple. It’s only when you open the card that you realise that it’s something a little different.
Basic Cutting Instructions for all four Apple Harvest cards are in itallics. The additional instructions are for the card made live on the video.
- Base Card – 10.5 x 29.7 cm (A4 sheet cut in half on the shorter side)
- Score and fold at 14.9 cm
- Open up the card and on the long side cut at 7.0 cm. This will give you two pieces, the smallest being 7.0 x 10.5 cm
2. Basic White card – 10.0 x 14.4 cm.
- On long side, cut at 7.0 cm. This will give you two pieces.
- Cut the 7.0 x 10.0 cm piece to measure 6.5 x 10.0 cm. This is the piece you can stamp on and add to the 7.0 x 10.5 cm piece cut from the base card.
3. Double-Sided Paper – 10.0 x 14.4 cm*, 4.0 x 14.4 cm and 1.5 x 10.0 cm*.
* being the same design
- On the long side of the largest piece cut at 7.0 cm. This will give you two pieces
- On the short side of the 4.0 x 14.0 cm cut a 1.0 cm strip and then cut it down to 1.0 x 10.0 cm
All four cards are featured in the video, which you will find here
