This week my Simple Stamping Saturdays No.14 features the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. The stamp set will be retiring on 3 June so now seems a good time to dust it off and use it for yesterdays and today’s projects.
The photopolymer stamp set contains ten stamps, four of which are sentiments. Although the stamp set is designed for two step stamping it can be used very easily for simple stamping.
Basic Instructions for the three note cards
Card on left – stamp sentiment in Night of Navy ink and then the first set of spots in Pool Party. Turn card 180° and then stamp the spots again in Pool Party ink.
Card in the centre – stamp the bee in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colour in using Daffodil Delight Watercolor Pencil.
Card on right – stamp dragonfly and sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink. Stamp the “solid” wings in Pool Party ink. Please note the wings are not solid and are supposed to look like watercolor.
