Why is it, that it’s only when it’s time to say good bye that you do a re-take and think that’s a cute set? Then you wonder why you didn’t use it that much! The Lift Me Up stamp set and coordinating Up & Away Thinlits is one such set. In fact, they are so cute that I have had to have one last play with them and make a couple of cards to share.
I kept the colour scheme for both cards to a selection of blues. Using Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy and Pool Party.
The sentiments have mixed fonts, which is very on trend at the moment. I guess Stampin’ Up! were ahead of the game with them.
This card is going to be winging its way across the Atlantic to my husband. I’m just not sure if it will make it there before I do.
The balloon inside was stamped a little crooked – not deliberately. So, I really do hope the card does not get blown off course.
Here are the two Lift Me Up cards together.
I cheated a little making the card on the right. The stamped Whisper White piece on the right-hand side has two images stamped repeatedly on it. The cheat was that I had both stamps close to each other on the same clear acrylic block.
