Have you seen the A Big Thank You stamp set from Stampin’ Up!? It’s really cute and as the name suggests full of thank you sentiments. The stamp set is carrying over into the 2019 Annual Catalogue, hooray.
The stamp set was used for the last Simple Stamping Saturdays post so here are a couple of stepped up versions.
Stamp the three flowers across the centre of the Whisper White cardstock in Tranquil Tide ink .Then stamp over the images using Lemon Lime Twist ink. Colour the middle of each petal using a Tranquil Tide marker.
Stamp a fourth flower onto scrap Whisper White cardstock, colour and then fussy cut around the image. Adhere this fourth card to the card front using foam pads.
I love sending cards that coordinate inside and out. So I made sure that the inside panel was decorated to match.
I made a second card that looks simpler but involved a fair bit of stamping and die cutting.
Instructions to make this second card
- Stamp the same three flowers in Fresh Fig ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
- Then over stamped with Petal Pink ink and colour using a Berry Burst maker.
- Die cut the image panel using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
- A larger stitched rectangle is cut from Petal Pink cardstock.
- Stamp sentiment in Fresh Fig onto a piece of Petal Pink cardstock.
- Use another smaller die from the same set to cut out the sentiment.
- Adhere the three panels to the card front (10.5 x 29.7 cm piece of Fresh Fig which has been scored and folded at 14.9 cm) using foam pads.
- Stamp flower image using Fresh Fig ink onto a 10.0 x 14.4 cm piece of Petal Pink. The image only needs to be around the edge.
- Glue Petal Ink insert into the card and then glue a smaller piece of Whisper White (9.0 x 13.4 cm) on top.
