Hello and welcome to this week’s CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge where I am using the Making Every Day Bright stamp set. September is another month were we have different hosts each week. This week it’s the turn of Samantha, and she has the following colour challenge for us.

My first instinct was that these colours make me think of Halloween but then I panicked because I thought  that  I didn’t have any Halloween stamp sets! Luckily this proved not to be true because I found a cute stamp in the Making Every Day Bright stamp set – available from tomorrow.

This is what I came up with.

Making Every Day Bright- CAS Colours & Sketches 288

I love the little spiders and their webs inside the light bulbs. The sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. It was stamped in Crushed Curry onto the Crushed Curry Panel. But, for the sentiment in the middle I stamped it in all three colours and then cut it up. It looks a little wonky but this is a Halloween card so things don’t tend to be perfect.

And from the side, so you can see the inside panel.

I hope that this has inspired to you give the challenge a go. You will find all the details and the links over on the CC&S Blog along with inspiration from all the other design team members. You have until 11.00 pm (UK time) on Monday, 10 September to enter your card.

Happy stamping.
