Hello and welcome to August’s Alaska Achievers Blog Hop. You are currently visiting me, Fiona, here in the warm and humid UK. You will find a complete list of those taking part at the bottom of this post.

Wow, wow, wow. What can I say about the Alaska trip. It was simply amazing and over far too soon. I have a ridiculously large number of photos to get sorted. And, of course, lots of happy memories of the times spent with the most amazing demonstrators from around the Stampin’ Up! world. I even managed to get a photo with Kylie & Bruno!!

We were thoroughly spoilt on the trip, and one of the items received was a pack of Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. The Poppy Parade card bases (there are 10 large and 10 smaller ones) are designed to go with the Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Card Pack.

The Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Card Pack contains 50 double-sided cards (2 each of 25 designs) plus some glittered cards and some sticker sheets.

Of course the Memories & More card pack will be great for a Christmas album. But, I think I’m going to stick to using mine for card making. Here are a few of the ones that I’ve already made up so far.

The cards do not need to be complicated. I simply added the cards to the base cards using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Great embellishments to add something extra would be:

  • Clear Wink of Stella,
  • Red Rhinestones (in the Autumn/Winter catalogue),
  • Garden Green Baker’s Twine (also in the Autumn/Winter catalogue)

The cards above use the full size cards from the Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Card Pack. And, the three cards below the smaller size.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting me and don’t forget to check out all the other blogs for lots of other fabulous ideas. The links are below.

Happy stamping
