Hello and welcome to June’s Alaska Achievers Blog Hop. You will find the complete list of all those taking part together with the links to their posts at the bottom of this post.

It’s been awhile since I’ve taken part in these blog hops and thought it time to join in again. The Alaska trip is less than 4 weeks away and last week these arrived.

I still pinch myself that I am going on such a fabulous trip, and I know that I couldn’t have achieved it without the help of my customers and team.

There is no theme for today’s blog hop other than to use products from the 2018-2019 Catalogue. I had the Pop of Petals bundle sitting on my desk from last week’s  Card & A Cuppa event and I had an idea to combine that with the Delightfully Detailed Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Alaska blog hop Christmas card made using the Pop of Petals stamp set

This is my first Christmas card of 2018. I hadn’t intend to make one but as I was playing with the neutral colours this came to mind. I’ve used the white side of the Delightfully Detailed paper rather than the Very Vanilla.

The card has twelve flowers on it – four per actual flower that you can see. There are two Merry Merlot and two Mossy Meadow flowers for each flower. I probably could have used less if I’d used my Stampin’ Markers to colour the flowers instead of the ink pads.

There is a second card where I used the Very Vanilla side of the Delightfully Detailed paper. It was glued to some Mossy Meadow which in turn was layered onto a Soft Suede card base.

This time around I used Night of Navy for the flower. Two flowers were stamped, punched and then glued together to make the one. The leaves were stamped individually using Mossy Meadow ink and then fussy cut.

I also stamped the flowers on the inside of the card to finish it off. The outside of the card was finished with some bling.

Don’t forget to check out all the other blogs for lots of other fabulous ideas. The links are below.

Happy stamping
