The third day of the Incentive Trip meant we were in Juneau for approximately 9 hours. Although the ship docked at noon we didn’t rush to get off the ship because we hadn’t actually planned anything.
When we ventured off the ship a brief 20 minute walk took us to the downtown area. Did you know that Juneau is the Capitol City of Alaska? The one thing that we had planned to do was take the Tramway up to the top of Mt Roberts. But, in the end, I took an executive decision and got us tickets for the Glacier Express bus, and boy was it worth it.
Once we were finished at the glacier we took the bus back to the centre of Juneau and had a late lunch. Then we took the Mt. Roberts Tramway up to the top. George is not too good with heights but despite that he came along. He did stand in the centre of the cable car though!
All in all, we walked some 7 miles yesterday and on arriving back at the ship I popped along to Stamper’s Base Camp.
The base camp is a great place to meet other incentive trip achievers, look at samples and pick up some sweets (candy). One of the other things we get to do there is spin the wheel. Everyone wins something and there are different things each day. So far I have won some Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, a Spooky Bats punch and also some Metallic Pearls (silver & gold in one pack). I am certainly feeling very spoilt.

The suite is made up of the following
- Peaceful Noel Photopolymer Stamp set,
- the Spring Punch (which can be bundled together),
- the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) which has copper foil accents, along with
- some 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper and also ribbon and wire elements.
The DSP was one of the all attendee giveaways on our second day.
