Wow, time is really flying on this trip. I can’t believe we will be on Day 6 by the time you read this.

The day before yesterday, Day 4, was spent in Skagway. Skagway was where many people started their journey to the Klondike as part of the Great Gold Rush. Our day started early because we took the White Pass Rail Road up to Fraser (British Columbia, Canada). The narrow gauge railway is some 67.5 miles long but our journey was only the first 27.7 miles. Once at Fraser we took a coach back into Skagway. The scenery was magnificent but my photos not so. Too much reflection from the windows of the train and coach.

Day 4 of the incentive trip in Skagway

Once back in Skagway we spent a few hours there before returning to the ship. Of course we had to try the local Halibut Fish & Chips.

Yesterday the ship was slowing making it’s return journey back to Seattle. The captain took the ship into the Endecott Arm where we saw the Dawes Glacier from about a mile away. It was another early start with many people out on deck at 6.00 am. I retreated back to our cabin at 7.00 am and enjoyed the view from our balcony.

Day 5 of the incentive trip - glacier viewing

Today we have a day at sea.  I get to pick up my swaps and there is also a Share Fair where we get to see more new products in action. We are due to visit Victoria in British Columbia (Canada) tomorrow before setting off on the final leg to Seattle.

In the meantime, here are some more sneak peeks of projects using the Festive Farmhouse Suite from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue which will be available from 5 September.

If you haven’t already seen it, stop my Facebook page where I’ve shared a video of a cute tin that Shelli shared at the general session. You can find it here.

Happy stamping.
