The final days of the Incentive Trip were spent at sea and also in Victoria, British Columbia (Canada). Day 8 was embarkation from the ship and a travel to San Diego day.

Day 6 – at sea

It was foggy so we didn’t get to see anything through the windows. We did hear the fog horn quite often though.

All was not lost. This was because Stampin’ Up! had arranged a Share Fair for us to attend. A number of demonstrators has been tasked to make projects using some of the new products and share their ideas, hints and tips with us.

Before going to the share fair I popped down to the Stamper’s Base Camp to pick up my swaps. More about the 26, that I received, another day. It also gave me a chance to catch up with some of the UK team and get pictures of all the swaps.

Final day photos of the swap boards

These are just two of the swap boards that were dotted around the room.

There were 10 amazing boards in total! Lots of fabulous inspiration to be had and I’ll pop a couple more photos of different boards on my Facebook page.

The share fair was a lot of fun, although it was busy with 400 demonstrators all trying to look and ask questions. I took as many photos as I could and even took photos of instructions where I could. Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are happy to share hints and tips and I have to admit that I picked up a few ideas for classes.

Before leaving the Share Fair I was asked by one of the Stampin’ Up! staff  if I would talk on camera about how I became  a demonstrator and also a couple of other things. I’m not sure if my video will make the main cut. And, I think the video is for demonstrator training so I guess I might never get to see it.

Day 7 – Victoria, British Columbia.

We arrived early in the morning to a grey day but it warmed up really quickly. This was the colourful border crossing.

George and I decided to walk into the city via Fisherman’s Wharf.

A photo of some of the cute houseboats to be found at Fisherman’s Wharf. A few can even be rented over the summer.

Victoria was really hot and extremely busy so we didn’t stay all day. In any event, we had to pack because the cruise was ending the following morning.

The final evening Stampin’ Up! held a farewell dessert party. I’m not one for desserts but went along immediately beforehand for the UK demo photo. I had managed to miss the one at the start of the cruise so thought I’d better go this time around! Sadly not everyone made it this time either, but we did manage to get Sara Douglass into the photo with us!

I still have lots of things to tell you about and lots of photos to share too.  But, I will save them for another time. What I can tell you, was this was a trip of a lifetime and I know that I have my customers and team to thank for it. Without their support it would not have been possible and I am truly grateful.

Happy stamping.
