It’s the weekend so time to share Simple Stamping Saturdays No.13 featuring the A Big Thank You stamp set. The photopolymer stamp set contains 26 stamps which are a mixture of images and fonts. I love the sentiment used for the first card and there are lots more to choose from.
I’ve used the retiring 2017-2019 In Colors in all of todays cards. The first one above being Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide.
Here’s a closer look.
This first notecard involves the technique of stamping off. This means that you ink up the image, and then stamp it first onto some scrap and then stamp the project. The image will be lighter as a result. Depending on the colour being used, you could actually stamp a third and fourth time without re-inking.
Here are all three notecards that I made.
If you purchase the stamp set, two ink pads and a pack of note cards (which come with envelopes) you can make 20 cards for £36 (£42.50 if you need to add a clear block for your stamps). I’m sure your friends and family would love to receive a handmade card from you.
