Sometimes you see a card and you just want to make one for yourself. This Pop Up Front Step card is one of those cards. It’s a fun fold and despite it’s looks is easy to make.
I used the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper and the Joyful Holly stamp set to make the card. Both can be bought through my Online Store. The stamp set involves 2 Steps. First, you stamp the outline and then the leaves or berries. This is the method I used to colour the image on the front. An alternative is to stamp the outline image and then use Stampin’ Blends to colour. This is what I did for the back of the card and also the envelope.
Cutting instructions for the Pop Up Front Step card
- Coloured cardstock base – 10.5 x 29.7 cm which is then scored at 14.0, 17.0, 22.0, and 25.0 cm
- Designer Series Paper for base –
- 10.0 x 8.5 cm
- and 10.0 x 2.5 cm
- 10.0 x 4.5 cm
- Coloured cardstock front panel – 14.0 x 6.5 cm which is then scored at 1.0 and 4.0 cm
- Designer series Paper for front panel –
- 6.0 x 2.5 cm
- 6.0 x 9.5 cm
- Front panel for stamping – 5.0 x 8.0 cm alternatively, stamp and die cut an image
- Rear panel for sentiment and stamping – 10.0 x 13.5 cm
