I ran a poll earlier in the week on my facebook page and asked people to vote on which stamp set they would like me to feature. As a result of this, the Simple Stamping Saturdays No.19 features the Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set.
You won’t find the stamp set in the main catalogue but will find it in the Experience Creativity Brochure. I love the new annual catalogue but it can be a little daunting for someone who is just starting out. This is where the Experience Creativity Brochure comes into its own. Mind you, there is nothing wrong with more experienced crafters using the stamp sets in the brochure.
Today’s card is simple in it’s design because you stamp straight onto the double sided paper. You just need to make sure that the paper you use will show the image.
I used Purple Posy and Seaside Spray double sided paper from the 2019-2021 6″ x 6″ paper pack. The soft colours are perfect for these baby cards.
Basic Instructions –
- Use a Whisper White Notecard.
- Cut double sided paper to measure 8.2 x 12.0 cm (3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″). Be careful which way you cut the paper to ensure any words appear the right way round.
- Stamp image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the double sided paper.
- Optional part – stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black onto a 1.0 cm wide strip of Whisper White cardstock and then trim ends.
- Glue the paper to the card front.
- Add sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals if you stamped it separately.
