So many different ways to use your double sided paper
I love using designer series paper on my projects and make use of it in a variety of different ways. Such as:
- Decorate a whole card front with it and then use a simple punched or die cut sentiment. This makes for quick and simple cards, and you can get 6 cards out of one sheet of paper. Alternate between using the front or back of the paper and you get different looking cards without any additional effort.
- Die cut or cut different shapes from the paper to highlight a sentiment or image. It adds depth to your card and some added interest, especially when using bright colours. I love that some of the papers have coordinating dies or punches to cut out some of the images. No more fussy cutting.
- Strips of paper (usually 1.5 or 2.o cm wide) to decorate the inside of the card or even the envelope. That way you are giving a totally coordinated card.
- Techniques such as a One Sheet Wonder. This is where you cut the paper into various shapes (usually a combination of squares, rectangles, triangles) and use them to make a number of cards.
Of course the paper can be used in other ways, it’s not just for cards. For example, I also use it for:
- Gift packaging (boxes and bags)
- Decorating items such as notebooks and stamp cases
- Home decor projects
- Scrapbooking
Did you know that double sided paper could be used for so many different things?
Of course, all of the above goes for all double sided paper from the catalogues. But, today I want to concentrate on the ones in the upcoming 2019 catalogues.

Each of the following pictures shows both sides of each sheet of the paper. I’ve also added details of the Stampin’ Up! colours that the paper coordinates with.
