It’s been awhile since I joined in Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlights. This month the theme is Gratitude and Thankfulness and I’ve opted to use the Falling for Leaves stamp set mainly because of the sentiments in it.

2018 is coming to a close and there is much that I have to be grateful for this year. My family, my Stampin’ Up! family, and the many fun and exciting opportunities I’ve had this year. Being able to travel to Alaska with my husband and to Florida with my Stampin’ Up! family to name but a couple of the things.
Here’s my project using the Falling for Leaves stamp set.
As always, the inside of the card is decorated too.
The leaves were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured using Stampin’ Blends (Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam). The centres of the leaves have been highlighted using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. The glue dries shiny and gives a lovely effect, which I finished off with a pearl.
