Thank you to everyone who came to yesterday’s event. The diehards who stayed for a little more crafting and take-a-way left at about 10.00 pm! Someone even suggested we have a pyjama party and do a 24 hour craft-a-thon.
The whole day was based around the Petite Petals Bundle – stamp and co-ordinating punch. There were four themes using the Fresh Print Paper Stack, and the Retro Fresh, Watercolor Wonder and Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper.
I can’t make up my mind as to which of the DSP packs from the Spring/Summer Catalogue that I like the most, but in terms of value the Fresh Prints can’t be beaten. There are 48 sheets (4 each of 12 designs) of double sided sheets measuring 11.4 cm x 16.5 cm (4.5 ” x 6.5″ ) for only £6.25.
I love making these file folder cards using the Envelope Punch Board. The next card has a closure made using one of the Tag Topper Punches. You can use both punches to give slightly different looks. The Scallop Tag Topper was being used on a different project so I used the Angled Tag Topper Punch on this one.
I had a really fun day although I have to admit that my feet are hurting a
little this morning. Today’s plan is to relax once I’ve finished doing
the tidying up. This means picking up all bits of backing from the red
sticky strip and dimensionals that have travelled around the house. It
never ceases to amaze me how they get about.
The above are only a couple of the projects from yesterday. I plan to share a couple more in my next post.
