I found a lovely gable gift box on the internet and decided to give it a go.  Thanks to  Evee’s Aunt  for putting the link on her blog.  The box is made out of one piece of card (8.5″ x 11″) and requires a scoring board and an oval punch to make it. Of course you also need some card stock, stamps and ink to decorate it. Don’t be put off if you don’t have a scoring board, a paper cutter with scoring blade or a ruler and embossing tool do just as good a job.
The card stock is scored and then stamped. I used a piece of pink card stock and stamped it with the smaller stamp from the Delicate Doilies set using Bashful Blue. I then stamped a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Bashful Blue ink again and the Just Believe stamp set. The Whisper White was then matted onto a piece of Bashful Blue card stock and this was then stuck on the front of the box.
The tag was made using the Just Believe stamp set and Bashful Blue ink on Whisper White card stock. It was punched out using the Extra Large Tag punch. I then matted it onto another piece of Bashful Blue card stock and cut around it leaving a smaller border of colour showing.   A few Basic Rhinestones and a piece of Whisper White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon later, and voila one finished box.
