Sorry for the lack of posts. I came down with a really bad cold early last week and it just doesn’t want to go away. I have managed to crawl off the sofa a couple of times in the past week to hold a class and a team informal get together, but other than that I’ve not done much crafting. Come to that I’ve not done much of anything else either.

One of the things we made in the class last week was a little treat (easter egg) holder using an idea by Sam Donald (aka Pootles). I don’t have any Easter stamps so I decided to use one from the Baby, We’ve Grown stamp set.

The holder was made out of one piece of Designer Series Paper measuring 11.4 cm x 16.5 cm (4.5″ x 6.5″) from the Fresh Prints Paper Stack.

As you can see, it is self standing, the actual box being triangular in shape. It’s large enough to fit a creme eggs or a number of smaller eggs. My problem is that I have to go find the ones I’ve hidden from my son, before I can send one to my niece.

That’s it for tonight. I’m hoping that normal business will resume again soon but I’m off to the USA on Saturday. More college trips planned for my son but hopefully there will be time for some crafting too.  I will be posting projects and things while I am away so please check back to see what I am getting up to.
