July is my birthday month so I’m celebrating by joining in the Crafty Collaborations Birthday Blog Hop.
There are a few friends and family who actually share the same birthday as me, including my nephew. But, this blog hop is designed to celebrate and share birthday ideas in general. I hope you enjoy checking out all the ideas, and, you’ll find the links to those taking part further down this post.
I had my friend, Lorrie, in mind when I designed my card using the Les Shoppes 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. There was a fair bit of fussy cutting involved but I think she’s worth it.
This Bendy Card is fun to make and is surprisingly easy. It starts as two pieces of card, cut to the same size. One is then cut on the short side so that one piece is wider than the other. You’ll find the basic cutting and scoring instructions below.
The great thing about the card is that when the two bendy front pieces are unlocked, the card will fit into a standard size envelope.

Wow! Impressive card!!
Thank you. Luckily I like to fussy cut so I really enjoy making cards like this.
Very cool card! This looks hard, but you make it sound easy. I think I’ll give it a try!
Thank you. It is surprisingly simple once you’ve done one. The thing that took me the longest was the fussy cutting but you can easily change things so there’s not as much on there.
An absolutely stunning card Fiona, love it x
Thank you. Well worth it for special birthdays and other occasions. x
