On Thursday evening I did a class at a local craft club. As a thank you I made a small gift for Diane, the organiser, but then could not find it (it wasn’t that small).  Anyway, it’s now been found and I handed it over in person at class on Friday evening.

You may recall seeing a picture of a similar one made by Kim that I received as a swap at the Creative Tour in September. I decided to go with a Christmas theme so have changed the colours and stamp that I used.

The little box was made using both Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive card stock. Kim very kindly provided us with details of how to make the box and if you are interested here is the link to the blog that she CASed it from KayBeScraps. Actually, Kim gave us the web-site name and I’ve just looked through all the box posts to find it – it should link direct to the correct project. There are some fabulous tutorials on the blog and you might just see another one or two over the next couple of months.

Here’s a photo of the box face on – please note that I did not add any acetate to the front.

Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Stamp set : Very Merry Tags
Card stock : Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Whisper White
Ink : Cherry Cobbler
Accessories : Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Season of Style Washi Tape, Mosaic Punch, Curly Label Punch, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, and Basic Rhinestones
This was a very quick box to make, and we will be making one in November’s Regular Monthly Classes. There will be other projects too of course with a Christmas theme.
