Today I am using the Lovely & Lasting stamp set and entering a card for the Global Design Project Challenge No. 349 -#GDP349

It’s a colour challenge featuring three colours, one of which is my favourite colour blue -Tahitian Tide. It’s a sunny, happy colour and pairs perfectly with the two other colours, Daffodil Delight and Parakeet Party.

Here’s my card for the challenge.

Lovely & Lasting colour challenge

I kept it simple by using the same stamp three times (cleaning it in between of course). The “neat” layout is achieved by using a Stamparatus and the Hinged Step Technique. This is where you move the plate (with stamp in the same position) down or up a notch and then stamp again. One of the big bonuses of using the Stamparatus is that you are able to stamp over the same image multiple times. The Daffodil Delight section was stamped three times until I was happy with the ink coverage.

Here’s the card from a different angle. You can see how the inside of the card is decorated.
