I had a few die cuts left over from the last Card & A Cuppa and paired them with the All Squared Away stamp set to make these cards. June is one of my busier months for birthdays so using up the die-cuts that I already had seemed to be the quickest way of making them.
In the past I have simply hoarded all the left-over die cuts and as a result end up with so many that I never know what to do with them. Now, I try to use them straight away and then I don’t feel so bad if I find the odd one or two sometime later.
I chose lovely bright colours for the cards. The top one being Fresh Freesia, one of the new 2021-2023 In Colors and the one below being Coastal Cabana.
The stamped image that is the background to the Basic Black flowers is using Granny Apple Green ink. A bold contrast that I love.
