Have you ever tried the two-step stamping technique? It is where you take two stamps and stamp one on top of the other to create an image. Stampin’ Up! have two basic types of two-step stamping sets.
- One where there is an outline image and a block image that is stamped over the top.
- The second where you combine two stamps to create an image.
The Art Gallery stamp set (available from 5 January 2021) is just one example.
The flower head is created using –
- Flirty Flamingo ink for the first stamp. And, then
- Poppy Parade ink for the second stamp.
Of course, there are lots of possible colour combinations and here are just a few. I had lots of fun making these.
All of the colours above feature in the glorious and new Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. You can see the paper in more detail in the video I made. See below.
As well as the first card featuring the Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade inks, I tried a different combination for a second card. This one features Pool Party and Night of Navy ink.
To find out more about two-step stamping, check out this video I made of a recent Facebook Live.
Happy stamping.
