This week I went live on Facebook and shared a new Forever Fern One Sheet Wonder with a twist.
A one sheet wonder is not a new technique, but the fun twist does add another dimension to it. It all starts with an A4 sheet of Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock.
The idea is to stamp images onto the A4 sheet but not all over. Instead, a couple of pencil lines are drawn to create a cross in the middle of the sheet. These lines are then used as a guide to where the stamped images should go.
Here’s the video recording showing how I made the cards.
The finished cards looked like this.
Basic Cutting Instructions for the Forever Fern One Sheet Wonder With A Twist
Base Cards (Early Espresso)
- 10.5 x 29.7 cm scored at 14.9 cm for the landscape cards
- 14.9 x 21.0 cm scored at 10.5 cm for the portrait cards
Optional Layer (Mossy Meadow)
- 10.0 x 14.4 cm
Stamped Very Vanilla (started as an A4 sheet, stamped and then cut into quarters). For layering use the following measurements
- 9.5 x 13.9 cm if Optional Layer used
- 10.0 x 14.4 cm if no Optional Layer used
Very Vanilla
- 10.0 x 14.4 cm for inside the card – decorate as desired
