A couple of things to share with you. Namely, that the new Stampin’ Trimmer and the Christmastime is Here Suite are now available.
Stampin’ Trimmer
I’ve had my trimmer for a couple of weeks and I love the way it cuts and scores. The main differences I’ve noticed are –
- The cutting blade is longer than the previous one and is able to cut a thin slither off the edge of the paper without any tearing.
- The scoring blade is larger and gives a lovely deep score line on the first pass.
- There is no long cutting mat – the cutting and scoring groove forms part of the trimmer platform.
- The large flat area of the trimmer has centimeters and inches at the top, bottom and also across the centre. Great for making sure that smaller pieces of paper and card stock are cut straight.
- The pull out arm is much longer than before – now 43.5 cm (17-1/8″).
- There are markings at the join (of arm and platform), so need to guess measurements around the 16 cm (6-1/8′) mark.
- When the arm is folded into the trimmer it acts as 6″ barrier.
The new trimmer costs £23 (cheaper than the previous one) and comes with both a cutting and scoring blade. Replacement blades will be available in packs of 4 early in the New Year.
