A couple of Eastern Beauty Stepped Up Simple Stamping Saturdays cards to share with you today. If you haven’t seen the simple stamping versions you can check them out HERE.
Eastern Beauty Stepped Up – Version 1
The easiest and quickest way to step up a card it to add colour and perhaps punch some elements out.
This first card has both Melon Mambo and Basic Black cardstock panels. But, like the simple stamping version only Melon Mambo ink was used.
The intention was to punch all the circles out. But being away from my craft room I didn’t have all the punches needed. As a result, I resorted to circle dies. A mixture of glue and foam pads was used to adhere all the layers together.
Eastern Beauty Stepped Up – Version 2
This version works in both portrait (as shown) and landscape formats. Helped by the fact that there is no sentiment on it!
The Bermuda Bay panel was embossed using the Tufted 3D embossing folder. Then it was glued to the Melon Mambo panel. The image stamped in Bermuda May and Melon Mambo ink was die cut using the Stitched Shape Framelits.
