Welcome to the second CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge of March. This week it’s time for a sketch challenge and I’ve chosen to use the Touches of Texture stamp set for the challenge that I’ve set.
When I originally designed the challenge I had certain ideas in my head. But, as quite often is the case the ideas didn’t work as planned so I took a different route. This is what I came up with.
The flower head was
- stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Then,
- coloured using the Light & Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends and also the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
The whole Whisper White piece was then adhered to a Stitched Rectangle of Coastal Cabana using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The same outline stamp image was used inside the card. But, instead of colouring the image by hand the abstract flower image was stamped over the top.

There’s only a 4 hr time difference for the next few weeks between the UK and the East Coast of the USA so please note the deadline if you are in the UK.
