Simple Stamping Saturdays No.2 – Incredible Like You

Hello and welcome to Simple Stamping Saturdays No.2 where this week I am featuring the Incredible Like You stamp set.

In case you are wondering, Simple Stamping Saturdays are where I share simple cards made using solely stamps, cardstock and ink. Yes, it’s amazing what you can do with a stamp set and lots of products, but sometimes it’s good to get back to the basics.

These cards are great for all level of crafters. Having said that, I’ll share stepped up versions later in the week for those of you who want to take it to the next level (or two).

This week I’m going a little mad with my supplies because I’m using two ink pads! But first I’m sharing these.

The card on the left uses only Lemon Lime Twist ink. And, the card on the right only Soft Suede ink. For the card on the right I stamped off first onto a scrap of paper before stamping the leaves.

Here’s a card made by using both colours.

I love the little flower heads in this stamp set. These and some of the other images have more depth because it looks like there are different opacities to the ink. What’s more, you can combine the images in so many different ways using whatever colour combination that you like. I might stop at purple branches though!

You will see in the catalogue (page 21) that the stamp set coordinates with the Incredible Like You Project Kit. Although I do have the kit,  I think the stamp set is a great stand alone set too.
