It was christmas party time yesterday, with lots of fun and laughter being shared around. I had invited both customers and team and rearranged the craft room to fit everyone in.
We played a couple of games of bingo and the Left Right game. Have you heard of the game? It’s really easy to play and is really a grown up version of pass the parcel. The parcel is passed in a circle from one person to the next. Going to the right when the reader says right and left when the reader says left. Simple!! The game is hilarious because people really can’t remember which is their left or right when playing it. I had my back to the table and all I could hear was “no, pass it the other way” followed by lots of laughs.
It’s never a party without food, and everyone brought a dish to share. There was more than enough to go around.
The star of the lunch spread was Tricia’s chocolate Christmas Tree. Sadly no-one wanted to be the first one to pick a chocolate of it. Not something my daughter and her friend were afraid to do once everyone had gone home!
I’m not sure how many Glue Dots Tricia used to fix all the chocolates onto the cone, but it’s certainly an inventive way to use the things.
Sneak Peek time
In between the games and food there was a little Make N Take for people to do.
As well as the sneak peeks of some of the stamp sets and paper from the 2019 Spring/Summer catalogue people were also able to make a notecard with some of them.
The cards feature the Piece of Cake stamp set, a 21 piece photopolymer set. They also feature the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper which comes as double sided 12″ x 12″ paper.
I only used one sheet of the paper, but seeing as it’s double sided everyone had the option to use either of the them.
