November’s challenges are being hosted by Patricia. And, being the first Tuesday of the month it means that it’s time for a colour challenge. The colours spoke flowers to me, so I made some cute flowers using the Snowfall Thinlits.
Here’s the colours that Patricia chose for us.
And here’s my card.
I had the idea for the flowers and originally thought about adding them to a plain strip of Whisper White cardstock. Then I thought that the flowers needed some leaves but stamping leaves in green was not a option. It then occurred to me that I could simply emboss the white card using the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder.
A flower was also added to the inside.
There was the usual to bling or not to bling question and this time around I decided to add some rhinestones to the centre of the So Saffron petals.
I hope my card has given you some ideas and inspired you to give the challenge a go. You will find the link to add your card along with pictures of all the other design team members cards over on the CC&S blog. Deadline for adding the link to your card is 11.00 pm (UK time) on Monday, 12 November.
Happy stamping.
Fiona xx

I really like those cheery flowers! Thanks for the angled photo too – it shows not only the inside, but also the fabulous dimension of the layered die cuts.
