After I had finished writing Monday’s post I realised that I had a couple of the Wishing You Well stamped images left. I didn’t want to waste them so it seemed like a good idea to play around with them some more. In the end, I decided to do a stepped up version of one of the cards that had been shared with you. This is my stepped up version.
Can you spot the three things that I did differently or added?
Figured it out yet? Here’s what I did differently –
- I used an additional smaller circle die to cut the sentiment from the middle of the wreath. The wreath was then adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment was then glued direct to the designer series paper using the aperture in the wreath as a guide.
- Lots of Red Rhinestones were added as berries.
- An additional bow was stamped, fussy cut and then glued (just the knot bit) to the bow already fixed to the wreath.
It’s amazing that by making these simple changes and using supplies already being used, that you can take your card to the next level. Check out the clean and simple version here.
Happy Stamping.
