My pre-order is done but I’m not expecting to receive any of it until the middle of next week.
This is probably just as well because I have a friend arriving today from the USA. We are planning lots of fun things to do over the week that she is here. She’s not a crafter, but I’m sure I’ll get a chance to sneak into my craft room while she is here and you never know, I might just be able to convert her when she comes with me to next week’s Card & A Cuppa.
I have a few posts already scheduled over the next week but in the meantime I thought I’d share pictures of the goodies that I received last weekend at OnStage.
Everyone who attended received this fabulous bag which has the lovely new Stampin’ Up! graphic on it. The bag is reversible and the inside is a cute pattern.
The badge with the number 4 on it was my Prize Patrol badge. More about that later.
Of course we all received a copy of the 2018-19 Catalogue and those of us who went to Centre Stage also received a cow bell or tambourine. We were encouraged to make lots of noise, not that we really needed any encouragement!
Everyone who went to OnStage received with their bag, a lightbox (I’ve already added Oakfield Crafts), and the Animal Outing stamp set (better pic below).
There was an all attendee giveaway in the form of the Pick A Pennant stamp set (we also got to see Sara showcasing this set along with the Stamparatus tool). There’s a closer view below.
There was a number of prize patrols and my number was 4. Numbers are randomly called and number 4 was the last to be called. My Prize Patrol was the Birthday Backgrounds stamp set (better pic below).
As a Silver Elite I also received one of the new style ink pads (more about them in another post), a colour swatch with all 53 colours and also a pack of the new 2018-20 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers.
I felt very spoilt, but there was more in store. At the end of the day we were asked to choose items from the Make N Take tote boxes starting with the youngest person on the table (not me, LOL). The box was then passed around the table clockwise with everyone choosing an item. It could be stamps, ink, card packs etc. Basically they did not want to take anything back to Germany other than the boxes.
I chose what was left of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (which was 90% of the pack) and a couple of the new Stampin’ Blends. The Specialty Paper comes in a pack of 8 sheets, 4 each of two designs and it is Very Vanilla on one side and Whisper White on the other. It’s lush. I also picked up a Memento Ink Pad and some Stampin’ Dimensionals. You can never have too many dimensionals.
New Stamp Sets
I’m going to have to hide the Animal Outing stamp set from my daughter. One of her favourite animals are Rhinos.
A very thumbed new catalogue which I can’t wait to share with you.
I have tons more to share and tomorrow I am going to start going through the Colour Revamp. There is a lot to take in about the revamp so I am spreading it over three posts – what’s retiring, what’s new and then the final complete picture.
Happy stamping.
