It’s Tuesday so time for the latest challenge, and this week it’s a sketch. Here’s what Karen has for us.

I went with the sketch as is and came up with the following card.

I’m really not sure what’s going on with the focus on my camera. I was going to take them again but the full frontal landscape kept coming out like this. I decided to give up because I was running out of time to schedule this post.
I made the card last week before I got to see this year’s Stampin’ Up! Retirement list. It turns out that everything I used (with the exception of the Archival Black ink) will be in next year’s catalogue because they are not on the list. Lucky for me.

It took me a little while to figure out all the measurements for the layers that I wanted to use, and the details are as follows:

Thick Whisper White base card – 10.5 x 29.7 cm which was scored and folded at 14.8 cm
Bermuda Bay layer – 10.0 x 14.4 cm
Whisper White layer – 9.5 x 13.9 cm
Lemon Lime Twist layer – 6.0 x 9.5 cm stamped in Lemon Lime Twist ink
Bermuda Bay strip – 2.0 x 12.0 cm stamped in Archival Black ink (which is retiring) and Bermuda Bay ink.

Don’t forget to check out what the other design team members have been up to on the CAS Colours & Sketches Blog.

Happy stamping.
