Despite the fact that I’m currently away,  the urge to craft never seems to go away. I did bring some supplies with me – one of which was a pack of the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper (DSP). I already had the Touches of Texture stamp set here in my stash so I combined the two for this project.

I used a Basic Black base card and layered some Crushed Curry cardstock and then a piece of DSP on top.
I stamped the images using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and then coloured them using a Blender Pen and Pool Party, Tranquil Tide (the flower and stems) and Crushed Curry (the bee) inks.

The bee is so cute that I just had to stamp it on the inside of the card too.
I used some of the new Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon to wrap around the mounted image before I adhered the whole thing to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I’ll be back later in the week with another project featuring the same DSP and stamps. In the meantime, please feel free to leave a comment.
