Every month I host two types of classes in my craft studio.
The first is my regular classes – this is a class where all those attending receive lots of Stampin’ Up! goodies in their class kit. And, this month, everyone received half a pack of the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper, half a pack of the co-ordinating This Chrismas cardstock, some Gold Glimmer Paper and also some envelopes (you can’t send a card without an envelope).
All ink, stamps and embellishments were provided by me.
These are the cards that people made.
There’s lots of Clear Wink of Stella and Gold Glimmer Paper going on here |
A couple of the cards featured the fabulous new Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. These new dies have been so popular that Stampin’ Up! sold out of their supplies within the first two weeks. All orders placed for these on or before 5pm on 21 November will be honoured when the next shipment arrives. But, from5 pm on 21 November the dies will not be available to order until a further shipment arrives. I’ll be putting in an order at mid-day on 21 November so please contact me if you live local and can collect from me, and would like to add your order to mine.
Of course, everyone went home with enough cardstock and designer series paper to make a few more cards if they wanted.
I had planned to offer a kit for this month’s class but Stampin’ Up! have just changed their Kit Policy, so I am having to rethink how and what I can offer. Fingers crossed that I have it figured out for next month.
The second class is what I call my Stylishly Simple Saturday class. I’d like to think that the title says and explains it all.
For this class I pre-cut all the cardstock and Designer Series Paper so that those attending can concentrate on the stamping and putting together.
These are the cards that people made at last weekend’s class.
They are a lot less fussy and can be easily replicated with other stamp sets, washi tape and designer series paper. All of these cards were made with the one stamp set – Tin of Tags, which has 16 photopolymer stamps.
I am today holding my first Christmas card class over at the Handmade Craft Company shop in the Holme Grange Craft Village. There is one other class this month where we are making a 3D Box Frame with Christmas Theme. If you would like more information you can check out the following link – The Handmade Craft Company
There are more classes being planned and I will add them to my Events Page once I know the dates.
I hope you like the cards. Next month the theme for the regular classes is Birds of a Feather so if you fancy coming along let me know by 25 November.
