This week’s entry for the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge involves colour.
I’m going to be sorry to see Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon retire at the end of the month, although I have to admit that I’m not going to be sorry about trying to get the Blackberry Bliss off my fingers.
I decided to use Silver Embossing Powder on some Lost Lagoon cardstock and used the largest leaf from the Vintage Leaves stamp set. I then cut out the leaf using the co-ordinating die from the Leaflets Framelits.
The sentiment comes from the Guy Greetings stamp set. I was pleased to see that neither of these stamp sets were on the retirement list.
I had a little trouble taking a photo which showed the Silver Embossing on the leaf properly, so I took it from another angle.
What you can’t see on either photo is that the Blackberry Bliss leaves are also embossed. One of the great things about having juicy ink pads is that if you are quick enough you can use clear embossing powder on the image and then heat it in the normal way.
I hope you like my entry and as always, please feel free to leave a comment.
