I’m back in San Diego having left my daughter at Michigan State University, where she will be studying for the next four years. Such a bitter sweet experience. So proud of all her achievements and the confident young woman that she has become, but I have to admit that I was a little tearful at the parting. I know that she will be home for Christmas and with technology today we can chat over the internet, but it’s not quite the same.
