Well, yesterday was most certainly an epic day in our household. I was busy trying to get the new online shopping links to work and book flights to the USA. My daughter has been offered a college place at both the University of Vermont and Ohio University and we now need to go take a look before she decides on whether she wants to take up one of these offers or one of the two she has in the UK.

Also, apologies if you were trying to look at the online site last night but there seemed to be some issues going on. Hopefully they will have been resolved this morning.

I hope that I can get the flights sorted today – it seems that over a six day period we are going to be staying in four different hotels, taking six flights and using two different hire cars. Oh and have I told you that we are going this Saturday! Guess I should crack on with things as I now have so much to do in the next three days.

First things first, here is another quick card that I’ve made using the Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper and also the Remember This and That Rotary Stamp.

Stampin’ Up! supplies used:

Stamp set : Best Dad Ever
Ink : Basic Grey and StazOn Jet Black
Card Stock : Naturals Ivory, Crumb Cake and Basic Grey
Accessories : Remember This and That Rotary Stamp, and Scallop Edge Border Punch

Apologies for the fact that the greeting is a bit on the slant – I can’t blame the photographer this time. I decided to wing it as I couldn’t find my Stamp-a-ma-jig. I can usually manage without but obviously not this time.

Other than the good news that Jenny is into two of her US college choices, I also found out yesterday that my butterfly card that I posted as part of the SUO Challenge on my 9 May blog received a Top 3 Pick. Seems I’m on a roll at the moment as this is the third Top 3 Pick that I’ve received in the last few weeks.
