Oh wow, some exciting news to share but first apologies for not posting anything for a few days.

Three pieces of exciting news to share. Firstly, my husband George is finally back after being away for four weeks. You would think I was used to his absences but occasionally there is one where you start to think, why? George received a piece of good news on his return – it turns out that he has won a holiday for two in July and yes I do get to go on it with him. My third piece of good news is that my “Just Stick to one Colour Please – No. 68” was in the Top 3 pick for the SUO Challenge. Thank you ladies for providing the inspirational theme, I will certainly be taking part in other challenges.

I am now playing catch up on the blog. Apologies once again for not posting for a week. No excuses, other than lack of time. To make up for it I have two cards to share today. As a starting point I used two different pieces of Speciality Designer Series Paper from the Natural Composition pack. Please note that this pack comes as 12 sheets of 12 x 12 single sided paper (2 sheets of 6 designs).

Love the glossy design on this

Having taken the photo I then thought that
this would look as good turned by 90°

Tonight I am holding the first of my Technique Classes – today’s being Chalkboard. I will be posting photos of my samples tomorrow so you can see what we got up to. It seems that Friday evenings are going to be the best time to hold these classes so I am going to be amending the dates on the calendar to add these.
