here are some of the projects that I made yesterday using the Sealed With Love Simply Sent kit that you can get FREE if you purchase the My Little Valentine stamp set before 21 January. If you miss this offer you will still be able to purchase the Simply Sent Kit as it is available from the Autumn/Winter  catalogue (pg. 35 – £8.25) but only until the end of this month.

It wasn’t until I opened the kit that I realised just how much is in it.  Believe it or not I made all the following and still have plenty left.

I started off by using two of the envelopes to make the small box. I added some Pool Party ribbon from the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack available as part of Sale-A-Bration.

The scraps left over from making the box were used to decorate the card.  I used the Curly Label punch to punch the shapes from the scrap pieces.

I also added to the card a greeting from the My Little Valetine stamp set. I punched the greeting using the small oval punch.

The third item I made was a Double Pocket Mini Card holder. Again I used one of the envelopes to make this. The punched Decorative Label was punched from other scraps left over from making the box (I had eight corners in total that I cropped from the two envelopes to make the box and lid).

The mini cards or gift tags are simply the notes from the Simply Sent Kit folded in half. There are two of each (two each side) but I could fit a couple more in.

I also used the envelopes to make (believe it or not) two envelopes – they each have a sheet of notepaper inside from the kit. The envelope paper is double sided so you can choose which you would like on the outside. I opted to do one of each so you can see them for yourselves. Sorry about the poor lighting and my shadow. It was getting dark and the lighting is not the best in this house (except for my craft room of course).

Having made these five projects I still have all this left!

On Saturday I am supposed to be off to team training in Crawley, weather permitting. As I write this I have no idea what Friday will bring let alone Saturday. I hope that you are sitting snug while reading this and that you are able to check back tomorrow to see the swap I am taking to training.
