I love it when a new package of Stampin’ Up! goodies arrives. The only issue is all the brown paper that the warehouse uses to pack the boxes.  I don’t like to throw it away (actually it goes into the recycling box if I have too much) so I have decided to use it this year as my Christmas wrapping paper. This does mean I can only buy small presents as the paper is not very wide.

To tell the truth I haven’t actually done any shopping yet, which for me is unheard of as I have two birthdays to buy for too.  Anyway, I wanted to give a couple of my decorated note pads and pens as gifts so I decided to decorate some of the brown paper to wrap them in.

The first stage was to stamp the paper.

Stampin’ Up! products used were:

Stamp set : Snowflake Soiree
Ink : Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake

The second stage was to stamp some ribbon.

Stampin’ Up! products used were:

Stamp – Good Cheer builder wheel
Ink – Early Espresso
Accessories – Jumbo Handle, Stampin’ Around Builder Wheel Spindle & Spacers, 7/8″ Cotton Ribbon

The third stage was to wrap the gift so here is the finished item.

Don’t forget, if you have a Christmas wish list and your family wants to order things, anything delivered to me for collection will be wrapped for them (if they would like it to be). I am suggesting that orders are placed before 12 December to ensure that they are received in time for Christmas.
