Sweet Soiree, Gift Packaging, Weddings, Table Favours,
There’s only 4 weeks until the new 2018 Spring/Summer catalogue goes live.  Each week between now and then, I am going to share one of the product spotlight projects we made at OnStage in November, plus a few other bits and pieces made since then.
Week 1 is the Sweet Soiree Suite which was the first product spotlight that we saw.  Our Make N Take project was this adorable Silver Mini Gable Box wrapped in some of the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). The DSP has silver foil on one side and the reverse has colourful printed images. Be warned, the catalogue does not do it justice and you will most certainly fall in love with it once you see it in person. I will be featuring some of the products in the suite in my one day craft retreat on 24 February – Make Up for Make It. More info about this to follow soon.
There are 12 products in the suite, plus a co-ordinating Sale-A-Bration item. Of course, you can pick the products you like the most and so far the designer series paper, the stamp set and the co-ordinating dies are my clear favourites.
Here are a couple of projects made using the designer series paper, stamp set and dies. Plus, a sneak peek of the co-ordinating Sale-A-Bration item.
This is a simple card featuring the Berry Burst Metallic-Edge Ribbon and some of the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment stamped in Berry Burst Ink comes from the Cake Soiree stamp set (which will be available in wood and clear mount).

Sweet Soiree, Appreciation, Card, Stampin Up
This second card was made much the same way as the first, although there’s no ribbon. Instead, I stamped some of the flowers and leaves from the Cake Soiree stamp set and then die cut them out using the co-ordinating Sweet Cake Framelits Dies.  One of the cool things about this die set is that there are two each of some of the dies. As a result, it makes it much quicker to cut flowers and leaves because you can do two at a time.
Sale-A-Bration 2018 starts the same day as the Spring/Summer Catalogue goes live (3 January). For those of you new to Stampin’ Up! and not sure what Sale-A-Bration is about, it’s your chance to get your hands on some free stuff. For each £45 purchase between 3 Jan and 31 March you can choose one item from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.  2018 is going to be a little different though. As well as items available for a £45 spend there is also a couple of added options (dies and a stamp set) for a £90 spend.
The picture below shows you the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack that is available as part of Sale-A-Bration. The cards are great for scrapbooking, pocket scrapbooking and of course card making too.

I haven’t gotten my hands on a pack yet but I’m sure I will do at some point over the next few months.
I hope you have enjoyed this quick peek. There are a few more coming so check back when you can and see what else I’ve been up to.
