This week is Emily’s fourth challenge for the month and the second one for the Design Team Call.
If you made a card for last week’s Design Team Call don’t forget that you need to enter this week’s challenge too. Full details are on the CC&S Challenge Blog.

Here’s what I came up with using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

The wonderful thing about photopolymer stamps is that the long ones can be bent into other shapes. The actual stamp for the stem and leaves is the one on the right hand side of the card. I straightened the stamp for the centre stem before stamping the one on the right and then bent the stem the other way before stamping the on the left.
Here’s a quick look at the inside too.

I love the combination of Crushed Curry and Soft Suede and decided to make another couple of cards along similar lines of the sketch.

Things went a little wrong on the one above because I didn’t get my spacing on the stems correct.

Mind you, I quite like that the flower is hanging off the Whisper White background. To cut out the flowers I used the Bouquet Burst Framelits  Dies which are designed ti co-ordinate with the stamp set.

For this third one I decided not to have the stems crossing over and I also moved the sentiment to the middle of the card. It’s surprising how two simple changes can give a card a completely different look.

Don’t forget to go see what the other Design Team members have been up to on the CC&S Challenge Blog.

  1. Hi Fiona,

Love your colour choices! Its cool the way you tried both flat and then with a bumped out layer. It is hard to get the spacing right… I think I lucked out on mine. So glad I could come visit!

    1. Thank you Barbara. It can take ages just figuring them out but occasionally I know exactly the combo I want to use straight away. As for the boo boo, it was a happy error and I'm sure it won't be the last one I make.
